The Rainbow Phoenix is an animal that can be tamed as an animal companion by using the Ranger skill, Charm Animal.
The Rainbow Phoenix flies a few feet above the ground purely for visual effect.
The Rainbow Phoenix deals piercing damage.
Bringing a level 20 Rainbow Phoenix to the Hall of Monuments will allow you to add the standard 'Animal Companion' statue to the Monument of Fellowship, but not a unique statue.

- The Rainbow Phoenix will only appear in the Hall of Monuments when the following conditions are met:
- No one else is in your party, including heroes and henchmen.
- All four tapestries have been displayed.
- One of the following:
- The character has achieved the second level of the Maxed titles rank, "People Know Me".
- The character has achieved the first level of the Maxed titles rank, "Kind Of A Big Deal," and has a "full" Hall of Monuments in personal or account-wide view.
- The Rainbow Phoenix will normally only appear in the Zaishen Menagerie when the following conditions are met:
- No one else is in your party, including heroes.
- You have unlocked the Rainbow Phoenix on your account.
- They can be unlocked from Helena for either 80,000 Balthazar Faction or 15
and 100
.
- The Rainbow Phoenix is currently the largest pet available in Guild Wars.
| Historical note: After the 4th Anniversary Update, it was possible to charm this pet with a hero through a bug in the Zaishen Menagerie. It has since been fixed, and all pets charmed this way removed from the heroes. |
