DescriptionEdit

Rain Beetles are giant insects that like to accompany Rock Beetles in Vabbi. They look completely harmless and make almost friendly scratching and squeaking noises, making their hostility somewhat surprising. Although incapable of dealing out great amounts of damage, they are surprisingly resilient with Escape, Troll Unguent, Distracting Shot, and naturally increased armor vs physical damage (despite being rangers). The collector item they drop has a low chance of salvaging into Diamonds, Rubies, and Sapphires, making these creatures desirable target practice for farmers.

TriviaEdit

• According to Johan Garham in the Wilderness of Bahdza, Rain Beetle mothers closely inspect their offspring at birth. Any imperfect Rain Beetles are cast out of the nest, and legend speaks of an island inhabited by the outcast beetles.
• The creature's appearance and rolling movement may have been been influenced by the Droideka from the 1999 motion picture, Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace.
