  • The maximum damage is 80 for each time the enemy deals damage. If a foe deals 200 damage to a single target in one hit that foe will take 80 damage. However, if a foe uses Searing Flames and does 100 damage each to 4 characters, then it will take 4 × 80 = 320 damage.
  • This spell is capable of effectively and incredibly easily dealing with high-damage bosses, elementalists in particular.
  • If removed by skills such as Smite Hex, any damage dealt by the skill will be calculated by the Inverter and cause damage to affected foe.
  • This skill deals its damage to the hexed foe before skills like Protective Spirit reduce the damage actually taken by the foe's target.
  • Combines particularly well with minions, as any AoE damage caused to each minion counts. It is also relatively useful against dungeon bosses or in some endgame bosses like Ilsundur, Lord of Fire and Shiro Tagachi respectively (although hex duration may be reduced).
  • The damage multipliers from Lightbringer rank and "By Ural's Hammer!" are applied after the 80 damage cap.
