DescriptionEdit

Optimus Caliph is a powerful elementalist guarding one of the sealed gates leading to the Door of Komalie. He is most likely the highest ranking Mursaat available in-game so far. During the Charr invasion of Kryta, it was Optimus Caliph who turned the tide of the battle and fought alongside Saul D'Alessio. Lazarus the Dire and Mercia the Smug also fought at his side.

• He spawns at the third location on the map, in the lower right corner. He will spawn with a second boss, randomly chosen from Cairn the Destroyer, Cairn the Relentless, Mercia the Smug, Sarlic the Judge, and Willa the Unpleasant.
• Like all Mursaat Elementalists, he will only use Glyph of Concentration when dazed. Therefore he has no counter to other means of interruption such as mesmer spells or ranger interrupts.

TriviaEdit

• Optimus means highest in Latin and caliph is the Romanised form of the Arabic word khalifah, which means successor or representative and was used to describe the leader of the Muslim nation. Thus, Optimus Caliph roughly translates to highest successor, highest representative or highest ruler.
