Mountain Eagles can be tamed as a pet by using the Ranger skill, Charm Animal.

- There are always one or two Level 5 Mountain Eagles just south-west of the Eye of the North (outpost), near the resurrection shrine.
- This is one of four pets to fly above the ground. The first was the Phoenix. All use the same mesh.
- The Mountain Eagle grows significantly larger than the other flying pets, with the exception of the Rainbow Phoenix.
