These creatures are often found buried underground, and will pop up suddenly to surprise unwary adventurers. They are almost always found in groups of three to five. While not very dangerous individually, if several of them target the same person, their defense-ignoring Vampiric Touch can be an extremely nasty spike of damage. Other than that they use their claws which deal piercing damage. On the flip side they are low-level and fragile.
