The Monument of Valor showcases trophies for Destroyer and Tormented weapons.

• A hero's greatest weapons are courage of
  heart, unchained
  Strength of soul and rightful fury
  unrestrained,
  Never to be vanquished.

• Witness here the weapons of the
  legendary hero, <-Name->, whose
  achievements will never be forgotten.

• Acquire a Monumental Tapestry and apply it to the Valor Stand to activate.

• Only Destroyer Weapons from the Eye of the North expansion and Tormented weapons from the Nightfall campaign can be added.
  • Addition of Tormented weapons was first announced in a developer note on the official wiki and was implemented in an update on 10/09/2008.
• All weapons, foci, and shields will be customised to you when you add them to the monument.
• Only the basic name of the item will be displayed, without any additional information.
• You cannot display two weapons of the same type, such as a Destroyer Long Bow and a Destroyer Recurve Bow. Each weapon must be of a different type, for a total of 11 Destroyer weapons and 11 Tormented weapons (both of the different Tormented Bow skins will show up on the same pedestal, regardless of which bow you used).
• You can view 11 weapons at once.
• According to PC Gamer (May 2007), "special weapons you earned in Guild Wars 1 may be in a display case in your Hall of Monuments, and your Guild Wars 2 characters will be able to take them out and use them."
• The displayed weapons seem to have a pre-determined order of arrangement, regardless of the order in which they were displayed.
