Markis of the Shining BladeEdit

Markis was a member of the inner council of the Shining Blade. He was first encountered in the Wilds mission where he was distrustful of accepting the aid of the players against the White Mantle, as the players were already a part of the White Mantle at that time.

Markis the BetrayerEdit

It was soon discovered that Markis is a traitor and an infiltrator working for their arch-enemy, the White Mantle. In response to the death of Justiciar Hablion, the White Mantle go on a rampage to wipe out the Shining Blade aided by Markis' costly betrayals. He is behind many setbacks for the Shining Blade in the story, beginning with the exposure of several of their Maguuma Jungle bases and ending with their leader Evennia falling into the hands of the Mantle in the Sanctum Cay mission.

Eventually, Markis is exposed in the Sanctum Cay mission and meets justice at the end of the Iron Mines of Moladune mission.
