Life stealing and Life Draining are game mechanics that move health from one character to another. They are not considered sources of damage and will not trigger or be affected by any skill/equipment effects related to damage.

If a skill or effect would steal/drain more Health than a foe actually has, the amount stolen is limited to the foe's current Health.

While the effects are similar, there are some important differences between life stealing and life draining:

• Life stealing is inflicted by skills, and there are other skills which can modify it.
• Life Draining is inflicted by Vampiric weapon upgrades, and there are no skills that can modify it.
