Prophecies and Factions
- Basic armor is inherent to the armor and thus cannot be salvaged or replaced.
- All armor comes with the Basic armor function.
Core (Obsidian)
- Basic armor is inherent to the armor and thus cannot be salvaged or replaced.
- Armor can be purchased with the basic armor function and either:
- an inherent bonus, or
- an empty Insignia slot that the user can add an Insignia to.
- The headgear can be purchased with the basic armor function, an inherent Attribute bonus, and either:
- another inherent bonus, or
- an empty insignia slot that the user can add an Insignia to.
Nightfall and PvP
- Basic armor is inherent to the armor and thus cannot be salvaged or replaced.
- Nightfall and PvP armor comes with the basic armor function and an empty insignia slot that the user can add any Insignia to.
- Nightfall and PvP headgear comes with the basic armor function, the Attribute function and an empty slot for Insignia.

- Name variations listed above are for armor sets with the basic armor function without any additional inherent bonus.
- Chainmail Helm for Warrior does not come with the Armor +20 (vs. physical damage) bonus.
- Ringmail starter armor for Warrior comes with an Armor +10 (vs. physical damage) bonus instead of Armor +20 (vs. physical damage).
Factions

- Recruit's starter armor for Warrior comes with an Armor +10 (vs. physical damage) bonus instead of Armor +20 (vs. physical damage).
