Kole's Torment is a Unique Item dropped by The Darknesses in the Ruins of the Tomb of the Primeval Kings.

It used to belong to King Kole, one of the ancient monarchs buried in the Tomb of the Primeval Kings.

Staff

• Energy +10
• Dark damage: 11-22 (req. 9 Blood Magic)
• Halves casting time of spells (Chance: 10%)
• Halves skill recharge of spells (Chance: 20%)
• Health +30
• Energy +5

This staff can be partially replicated with:

• a perfect Insightful Staff Head
• a perfect Staff Wrapping of Fortitude, and
• a Cruel Staff obtained from collectors John Verado in Skyward Reach just outside of Augury Rock or Mag Ironwall in Witman's Folly just outside of Port Sledge.

Excepting:

• the 10% HCT for all spells is replaced with 20% HCT for Blood Magic spells and the skin.

• Since this weapon halves the casting and recharge of all spells, it is useful to classes other than the necromancer.
• Other than the damage type and the attribute requirement, this has the identical stats of Illyana's Staff, Milius' Pillar, and Wenslauss' Faith
