This is the ultimate creation of Rragar Maneater in his menagerie. It is a very powerful boss-like foe that rips up groups by means of The Sniper's Spear. The 'spear' target is literally marked by Rragar Maneater's skill The Master's Mark.

• Killing it and its master causes a Hidesplitter's Chest to spawn and is part of the Veiled Threat quest.
• Killing Rragar Maneater causes Hidesplitter to go into a "fit of rage".
• Hidesplitter's normal attacks seem to have a random chance of causing knockdown.
