Guild Wars PvP Edition were versions of Guild Wars that allowed players full access to PvP areas of the game without access to PvE areas. There was a PvP edition for each of the regular editions available (Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall) and each one offered the following:

• The ability to start a PvP character in any of the professions available in that game.
• Access to all skills including elite skills of all available professions, as if they had been unlocked through the PvP unlock interface.
• Access to all arenas where PvP action takes place as well as access to The Battle Isles.

The PvP editions are no longer available. They have been replaced by the PvP Access Kit, Skill Unlock Packs (one for each campaign and expansion) and the PvP Item Unlock Pack.

• 150 of the skills for the 6 Core Profession are actually available for each campaign, so if you buy more than one PvP pack then you will get 120 fewer unique skills and 30 fewer unique Elite skills than stated.
