Gear Lever

The Gear Lever is used to open the frost gate.
Note that the Gear Lever is a "Bundle" (i.e. an object that does not go into the inventory, but has to be carried by hands).

Once you have picked up the gear lever for the first time, there's a light blue ping repeated on your compass where it lies if it has been dropped again.
