Fur Squares are a Rare Crafting Material that are used for many armor types including:

• Warrior Prophecies Ascalon Armor
• Ranger Fur-Lined Armor
• Ranger Ascended Canthan Armor
• Ranger Primeval Armor
• Norn armor
• Mesmer Primeval armor

[edit] Acquisition

Fur Squares can be obtained from the following sources:

• Can be bought from Rare Material Traders
• In Prophecies:
  • Calissa Sedgwick in (Ascalon City (Post-Searing)) will trade four Charr Hides for one Fur Square.
  • Can be expert-salvaged from Charr Hides but a successful salvage isn't certain.
  • Can be expert-salvaged from several centaur hides and dolyak hides (no guarantee of success).
• In Factions:
  • Many creatures (particularly those that drop tanned hide squares) will drop Fur on occasion. Confirmed creatures include Yeti, Gaki, and Warden.
