- This skill is available to Rangers in the Snowball Fight arena during Wintersday 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008, and the quests Straight to the Heart and The Strength of Snow during these events since 2007.
- When using Hidden Rock or Yellow Snow, the first target to be hit will receive the effects of the aforementioned Glyph.
- Unlike the regular Snowballs, the ones from Flurry of Ice do not charge up adrenaline for the Mega Snowball. If your Mega Snowball is partially or fully charged, you will lose the adrenaline if you only use Flurry for too long.
- Against a single foe, Flurry does less damage than Snowball, but it's faster rate of fire is useful in triggering Snow Down the Shirt.
- Against multiple foes, Flurry deals much greater damage than Snowball, despite the fact that it won't charge a Mega Snowball.
