DescriptionEdit

The Fire Staff is a two-handed ranged Elementalist weapon.

It inflicts fire damage, is tied to the Fire Magic attribute and provides an energy bonus.

There are three types of Fire Staves. One, available only in Tyria, is a barbed wooden staff with the same appearance as a Dead Staff. The second type, introduced in the Thursday March 9th update bears a strong resemblence to the Fire Wand, with a twin filament head and a very dark red shaft; known as the 'core' skin it is available in all campaigns and in the expansion. The third type, the 'metal' or 'Canthan' fire staff, which is available in Cantha, Elona and EotN areas, has an orange hexagonal crystal surrounded by a metal cage.

NotesEdit

The Pyrewood Staff, which used to be called a Fire Staff during the Nightfall preview event, is available in Elona. It has a clawlike head 'holding' a flame.

DyeEdit

Dye affects only the shaft of the 'Canthan' fire staff.

Dye colors the entire Core fire staff except for the head, the orange part of the base and the flame.
