It is our spiritual leaders, the Redemptors, who commune with the gods through portents and signs, and pass down to us the will of the gods. This is why we enjoy the favor of the gods over all others. We are proud of what we have accomplished, but unlike our enemies, the Luxons, we do not allow our pride to blind us to the will of the gods. I do hope you have not thrown your lot in with those barbarians."
