Farmer Dirk first appears in pre-Searing Ascalon, where he will ask you to help him with his prize winning hogs. This quest does not appear in the quest log.

While pigs are in the pen:

"But if you see Orville, you tell him to keep his filthy hands off my pigs!"

"I don't get visitors all that much out here..."

"I've got work to do, so if you want to stick around, I expect you to pitch in a hand."

"King Adelbern's cook has a standing order with me. Nothing but the best pork for the king."

"So my pigs wander into Orville's garden every now and then. They don't cause no harm."

"Sure is lonely being a pig farmer."

Later, in Kryta and the Ascalon Settlement, he gives the quest the Last Hog.
