Double-click to grant your party members 20% faster movement and attack speeds, and to reduce their skill activation and recharge times by 20% for the next 30 minutes. This item cannot be used in PvP.

You move and attack 20% faster and your skill activation and recharge times are reduced by 20% for the next 30 minutes.

• From Kwat [Consumables] in Rata Sum for
  • 1 Skill Point, 50 Feathers, 50 Piles of Glittering Dust, and 250 gold.
• From completion of the quest O Brave New World.

• Must be a Asura Title Rank 3 (Not Too Clumsy) to speak to Kwat.
• This item has no sell value to merchants but can be salvaged for Piles of Glittering Dust, which is not recommended.
• This item stacks.
• These can be used to ease the maintaining of Shadow Form, and are often used by farming teams for that purpose. In larger areas, a second Essence can be brought along in case the run takes longer than 30 minutes. These secondary Essences are referred to as Backups or BUs.

Historical note: Prior to the November 6, 2008 update, this granted party members 25% faster movement and attack, and 25% reduction to activation and recharge.
