Energy management (also E management) is the process of controlling energy use and recovery so the player always has energy when it is required.

Methods of energy managementEdit

Energy management is accomplished with a combination of three primary methods:

1. Reducing skill costs. Examples include Expertise, Glyph of Energy, and Way of the Empty Palm.
2. Energy gain. Examples include Auspicious Incantation, Prepared Shot, Ether Prism and Assassin's Promise.
3. Passive management. Using signets to do the job of a spell will allow energy to regenerate, thus allowing more spells to be cast. Examples include replacing spells like Orison of Healing with Signet of Rejuvenation and/or Signet of Devotion.
