The Eater of Souls is a vile demon lurking in a far corner of the Crystal Desert. Destroying him in the quest "The Monk's Path" is the required test to change a player's secondary profession to monk. He is burrowed in the ground and surrounded by more than two dozen Jade Scarabs, so a cautious approach is recommended.
