Dialogue
- "I recently escaped from the most terrible places. We were moved there after adventurers destroyed the Iron Forgeman in Sorrow's Furnace. Near here lies an excavation led by an evil necromancer named Bellok. The earthquakes tore open an ancient crypt where Bellok hopes to harness the power of an ancient lich. His taskmasters work my brothers 'til they are no more. Please, help us poor Dredge reunite the moletariate and rise again in unstoppable numbers! You must free my people!"
- Accept: "Hi-ho, hi-ho. It's off to revolt I go!"
- Reject: "This seems vaguely familar, and less vaguely painful. I'll pass."
Intermediate Dialogue 1 (Dredge Slave)
- "Thank you for saving me!"
- Player response: "I'll be on my way."
Intermediate Dialogue 2
- Zoldark the Unholy: "Excellent. You're just in time to feed my children...."
Reward Dialogue
- "Thank you! You have struck a great blow for the moletariate, hero! Perhaps I'll include you in my next manifesto."
[edit] Walkthrough
In order to defeat Zoldark the Unholy you must kill his accompanying minions. You cannot directly damage Zoldark. When his minions stop showing up, then attack him.
[edit] Notes
- This is a repeatable quest.
- A minion master will be of use as there will be plenty of fleshy corpses. Be wary, however, of Skelk Corrupters, who can turn your minions against you.
- On level 3, the Ancients resurrect every 30 seconds.
- Zoldark the Unholy has a skill called Master of Necromancy that raises his health well above his base. If he does not die when you think he should, be patient. When Master of Necromancy ends, you will see his health drop. Attacking his minions is a good idea because he sacrifices 5% health to resurrect them with Animate Undead, and he does not have any health regeneration. When his health is around 50% or lower, he will stop animating, and then you should focus on finishing him off.
