Full: Remove one Mesmer hex from target foe. If a hex was removed in this way, that foe loses 1...4 Energy and you gain 4 Energy for each point lost.

Concise: Removes one Mesmer hex from target foe. Causes 1...4 Energy lost. You gain 4 Energy for each point lost. No effect unless a hex was removed.

Notes

  • This is an effective skill to use in conjunction with Ether Phantom: at 14 inspiration, it will provide up to 20 energy and also cause the foe to lose up to 10 energy for only a 10 energy cost.
  • Consider using this skill to prematurely cancel out effects such as Kitah's Burden for massive energy management: at 10 inspiration and 13 illusion, this combination grants a net gain of 16 energy, after the energy costs of the hex and Drain Delusions.  This technique is useful against stationary enemies such as shrine/quarry NPCs in PvP.
  • There is great synergy between this skill and Web of Disruption.
