- Dracul is a Slavic word meaning dragon. Dracul Cadava is probably named after Vlad II of Wallachia, also known as Vlad Dracul, the father of Vlad III, also known as Vlad Tepes, Vlad the Impaler and Vlad Dracula. Cadava is probably derived from cadaver.
