To create, summon or animate a creature, in the context of Guild Wars skill descriptions, means to make a creature come alive in the mortal realm.

This includes:

• Minions (a.k.a. "animated undead")
  • The Celestial Assassin skill
• Spirits (summoned by Nature Rituals, Binding Rituals, or dropping the ashes from Anguished Was Lingwah)
• Asura summon spells: Summon Ice Imp, Summon Mursaat, Summon Naga Shaman, Summon Ruby Djinn
• Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support
• Summoning stones
