The Convocation is a Luxon tradition where every year representatives of the three Luxon clans fight each other in order to win the honor of carrying the Spear of Archemorus and use it to defeat Zhu Hanuku. The respresentatives typically consists of the champion of the clan and loyal followers. The captain of the clan do not partake in the battle. After defeating Zhu Hanuku, the champion of the winning clan keeps the spear for one year, and returns it in the following year's Convocation.

On occasion the Luxons have allowed representatives of the Canthan Empire the honor of partaking in the event.

The Boreas Seabed mission takes place during the Convocation of 1582 CC.
