Competitive Mission

A Competitive Mission is a type of mission that involves playing against other players (PvP). The teams are randomly chosen. Competitive missions can be accessed by PvE characters without traveling to the Battle Isles.

  • Fort Aspenwood
  • The Jade Quarry

• Fort Aspenwood and the Jade Quarry are also available to PvP characters.

• Fort Aspenwood and the Jade Quarry are popularly used to complete the quests Befriending the Luxons and Befriending the Kurzicks because of their yield and repeatability.

Historical note Any type of PvP arena used to be called "Competitive Mission" on the loading screen before Guild Wars Factions came out.
