Some of those are .jpg are of bad quality, especially if they've been screenshotted. What would look good are 64x64 PNG icons pulled from GW.DAT. --◄mendel► 05:07, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
- If you observe the hero images in the K-window, though, you'll see that they're not static icons - they're actually in-game renderings of the hero, with breathing animation. Since they're not static, they don't exist in gw.dat. —Dr Ishmael 05:17, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
- The "hero unlocked" message that Warwick screenshotted had another image, at 64x64. See the two MOX icons I've put up now. I was hoping that those were static. --◄mendel► 05:27, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
- If I had seen them in gw.dat, I would've pulled them out - and I went through the whole thing, 160,000 files, a few months ago, so I should've seen the Nightfall and EotN heroes. Now that I think about it, the unlock message icons don't breathe... but they're still in-game renders. —Dr Ishmael 13:39, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
- Just because they are ingame renders doesn't mean they have to look like crap. Lets have someone who has their graphics turned up to... reasonable... retake them. —♥Jedi♥Rogue♥ 13:52, 8 September 2008 (UTC)

- That's with every setting at the highest - refresh 60Hz, Anti-aliasing 4x, Highest graphics, Post processing effects, vertical sync, etc. I could see the noise appear when I converted to .jpg ...dumb lossy format. Maybe for these icons we could make an exception and use .png or such? (T/C) 15:31, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
- Could they have been hidden in the big bunch of skil icons? --◄mendel► 17:28, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
