[edit] Two Icons
Each of these skills have two different icons. Are we going to include both of them on their respective pages? -- JadeWarrior 01:08, 16 June 2007 (CDT)
- Good question. I would hate to have two articles for what's basically the same skill. Perhaps we should consider modifying the skill box to display both icons? --- Barek (talk • contribs) - 12:16, 16 June 2007 (CDT)
- First we need to actually get all the icons. I can get all the luxon ones, just tell me where to put them. Going to be a few hours before I can get enough time to get 15k faction to buy the skills. - Try to get the dimensions as close to 64x64 as possible - it's not a huge deal if it's a pixel off. I was going to upload a couple this week as Skillname_Luxon.... I've tinkered a little bit and it looks like it is impossible to include the graphic side by side with the Kurzick one inside the box, without an update to the protected Skills template... so I suppose we'll have to start off by doing it the ghetto way. I will make an update to Shadow Sanctuary later today - if it's not totally awful people can follow my bold example, I suppose. -- JadeWarrior 17:51, 17 June 2007 (CDT)

To be honest, the more I think about it the more I don't hate the idea of having pages along the lines of Triple Shot (Luxon) and Triple Shot (Kurzick). While they are functionally identical in theory, they are actually two different skills. If the basic Triple Shot page was basically these two pages combined (I find a disambiguation page in this case would be unsightly), it might be the most "elegant" (blargh) way of dealing with this poop. -- JadeWarrior 18:00, 17 June 2007 (CDT)

- Bit late, i already uploaded all the images for kurzick and luxon. Having separate pages would be silly, they are the same thing just image and progression faction requirement is different, you cant even eqip two Triple shot skills to your bar. Since there are two skills would it be possible to get one from both kurzick and luxon side and have two of the same skill on your bar? I'm thinking you could have two spear of furies, and two save yourselves which would make chaining that a lot easier. As well as having two triple shots on several rangers in an orders team. - Yeah, that would be nuts. Gaile has stated that you can get both, but you can not have them both on your bar at the same time. I haven't built up my Kurzick rank enough to confirm, but I'll take her word on it for right now.. -- JadeWarrior 15:59, 17 June 2007 (CDT)
[edit] Double rewards
Buying these skills for a pve char gives you 6,000 towards your rank titles instead of the expected 3,000 for the cost. It only costs 3,000 but you get 6k faction. Kelvin Greyheart 17:23, 17 June 2007 (CDT)
