Members of the Canthan Guard can be found throughout Kaineng City, protecting the people against the rising threat of the Afflicted while also trying to keep the Jade Brotherhood and the Am Fah in check.

On Shing Jea Island, they all seem to mention only this:

"They say Qi Falls have become haunted by some sort of spirit."

During quest Quimang's Last Stand when spoken to:

"With enough training and effort, you could become a member of the Imperial Guard someday."

"I can't believe I volunteered for this."

In Kaineng City, one of these lines is the response when spoken to:

"Everyday we lose valuable men."

"I haven't had a day's rest in months!"

"No matter how bad things are, we will continue to fight for Cantha!"

"Stay alert. We can't be everywhere, and these are dangerous times."

"Without the Obsidian Flame helping us the streets would be overflowing with crime."
