• Brutal Mauling is a monster skill used by Black Bears. It is unknown whether the skill is supposed to provide additional damage as tests show that it deals the same as a regular attack.

• This skill makes Black Bears the only pet able to trigger the effects of Paragon chants. This only applies to chants of the Anthem and Song type that affect allies, such as Anthem of Envy.

• According to the German in game description, it is a "Beastly attack that will make target bleed for 5 seconds". However, that previous description is erroneous since Brutal Mauling doesn't cause Bleeding and is a standard attack.
