Bricks of Mud are Common Crafting Materials, however they are not used for anything.
Before the update on the 29th of May, 2008 some artisans offered crafting of Clay Bricks from 1 Brick of Mud, 1 Pile of Glittering Dust and 20 gold. However, Bricks of Mud (and therefore Clay Bricks) were impossible to obtain, since no monster dropped them, and nothing salvaged into them.

- During the GameSpy Developers Chat on May 11 2007, Eric Flannum whispered "Buy mud bricks now!!!" before getting smacked by Ben Miller.
- The question was "Can we expect rare materials such as: Onyx Gemstones, Diamonds, Bricks of Mud and Clay Bricks to finally make an appearance in the game?" and the official answer was "We can't answer that at this time because it will cause a financial crisis at the material trader. :)". Onyx Gemstones and Diamonds later found usage in crafting Destroyer Weapons.
