At any time:
- Lunar Fortunes may randomly generate 1 Bottle Rocket when opened
- Red Gift Bags may randomly generate 3 Bottle Rockets when opened
- Gifts of the Huntsman may randomly generate 5 Bottle Rockets when opened
- Gifts of the Traveler may randomly generate 10 Bottle Rockets when opened
- Tesla in the Great Temple of Balthazar in exchange for 30 Copper Zaishen Coins and 10
During various festivals:
- 1 Bottle Rocket can be exchanged for 5 Victory Tokens at various collectors
During the Canthan New Year:
- 1 Bottle Rocket is rewarded for completing Fire in the Sky
- 2 Bottle Rocket are rewarded for completing The Big Bang
- Nubah Lao crafts Bottle Rockets for 1 Roll of Parchment, 8 Piles of Glittering Dust and 2 Wood Planks

- During Gaile's farewell party, the explosion was the shape of a frog.
- Lunar Fortunes and Red Gift Bags can be opened at any time, although it is generally hard to acquire them except during the Canthan New Year
