In every GvG battle, the Guild Lord is defended at all times by a Bodyguard. He will heal the Guild Lord when under attack and so long as the Bodyguard is still alive, the Guild Lord will take 20% less damage. While risky, it is often beneficial to kill him quickly in order to facilitate subsequent ganking attempts on the opposing Guild Lord himself.
The Bodyguard has 480 Health and 60 Armor; he wields a Bo Staff.
