Bats can be seen seen flying above Ascalon City and surrounding explorable areas. They can also be heard "squeaking" if one listens closely.

• Bats can also be found inside the cave area of the Rollerbeetle Racing track.
• They can also be found from Twin Serpent Mountains.
• They can also be found in Urgoz's Warren.
• They used to be seen on the Nightfall character selection screen, before the upcoming of Eye of the North.
• In guilds built on the Isle of the Dead.
