Ascension means achieving legendary heroic status by earning the blessings of the Gods of Tyria.

[edit] Benefits
- You can access the Realms of the Gods.
- You can change your secondary profession, which also unlocks The Hero's Challenge, allowing Tyrians to get their final attribute points.
- Once you have also completed the game, you can take on the Titan Quests.

- Becoming Weh no Su in the Factions campaign for Canthan characters.
- Become the new leader of the Sunspears by completing and accepting the reward for the quest Hunted! in the Nightfall campaign for Elonian characters.
