Amber Chunks, often referred to as simply Amber, are rare crafting materials associated with the Kurzick Faction.

- All Kurzick armor requires Amber.

[edit] Drops
- Every monster in Echovald Forest has a small chance (<1%) of dropping Amber.
- Kurzick units in Luxon areas will rarely drop Amber.
- It has been known to drop rarely from Mantid Drones, outside of Shing Jea Monastery.
- The new chest which appears when you kill Urgoz drops three Amber Chunks for each Player and six chunks in hard mode.
[edit] Trade
Amber can be bought from and sold to Rare Material Traders in most cities.
Amber can be traded directly with other players. Most players interested in trading amber can be found in House zu Heltzer.
[edit] Salvage
Occasionally 'Amber' weapons, such as Amber Wands, salvage into Amber chunks. Note, however, that this happens far too rarely to be profitable in any way.
[edit] Faction Reward
Amber can be obtained from the Kurzick Bureaucrat NPC in House zu Heltzer or Kurzick-allied Guild Halls for 5,000 Kurzick Faction. However, this also causes a loss of up to 5,000 Luxon Faction, if you have any. Buying from the Bureaucrat also adds 5,000 points to your Kurzick Allegiance for each Amber you obtain.
