Academy Monks are support units of the Ascalon Army. Since none of the soldiers are spell casters, Monks from the Academy are used as support healers and protectors. For defense they also wield a sword and a shield. The are found in many areas of Pre-Searing Ascalon, usually standing next to Resurrection Shrines.
