- Jora is featured in the skill icon.
- Like many other aspects of The Norn Fighting Tournament, this is likely a reference to Guile, a character from the video game Street Fighter 2. In the original arcade version of the game, there were several notable bugs related to Guile. One of these bugs was known as "Guile's Touch" or "Guile's Magic Throw". However, this skill seems to be more related to another Guile bug, often called "Guile's Handcuffs", that was often performed after an opponent was knocked down to render them helpless.
